Hi there everyone! As you know I operate an online/print magazine that features MANY of you here from DA.
To set the record straight, print copies are To-Order meaning, I cannot send you a free print copy, however much I might wish i could - *I* don't even get a free copy!!! I will be updating the FAQ section of the site to reflect this as it is causing so much confusion.
Also, every single issue from Volume Two (#13-24) in PDF format is now on sale for only $1! Yup, one dollar. Until May 1st that is. When the next issue comes out, volume two will no longer be available for purchase or viewing, so get 'em while you can!

Moving Is Fun
So, I recently moved into a new place - and released a new issue (scrambled to get it out on time and lived for two weeks with all of my belongings in boxes) - and haven't really had a chance to upload anything nice. Checked my notes, got called a "fucking liar" because someone had to wait a few days longer than they thought for their FREE copy of the magazine. Sometimes I wonder why I even bother doing this.
Free Copies?
I realize that much of my SNAPSHOT content comes from you guys - indeed, without you, there'd probably be no magazine - but the rest of the content (interviews, features, stories, tributes, etc) has little to do with your work, so why does everyone keep asking me for FREE copies? Do you guys do the interviewing? Do you do the paginating? Do you do the selecting? Do you do the advertizing? I didn't think so...
Sorry if this sounds a little peevish..but a business that gives away everything for free....probably doesn't stay a business for very long.
The magazine is going completely digital to give more content for your buck. Copies sell for $
Issue 29 and ALS
Hi there folks,
Feels like I haven't written a journal in a while...mostly due to my last rant. Anywho, CAPRICE MAGAZINE has a new issue out now featuring Iannis Imamidis, Manuel Estheim, artist Ann Klementeva, Dave Pearson of BLISSED, Mr. Saint Hope & more.
We've also a video up where I took the ALS Ice-Bucket Challenge and nominated all of my readers.
Check it out at http://www.capricemag.com
Oh, and stay tuned! We've got something else coming soon!
For the People who Think I'm Scamming...
When I started my little publication two years ago, I was so happy to be able to promote the photographers I featured and that feeling hasn't diminished with time. I endeavor each and every day - all on my own - to try and come up with cheaper, more affordable ways to get my 'rag out to all of you. I WISH I COULD OFFER FREE PRINT COPIES BUT THE SIMPLE FACT IS IT IS NOT FINANCIALLY FEASIBLE. I don't make anything from this. It takes up damn near ALL of my free time - and some of my not-so-free-time as well. People seem to think that I have nothing to do but rip people off and steal their work. Frankly it pisses me off.
I do this magazine beca

So why are you guys discontinuing older issues? In an online I would think that it would be easy to keep the older ones, just at a discounted rate because they are older. Also props to you guys for featuring artists from this site. I haven't seen that before.
